Original era manufacture. Issue green plastic scabbard for the plastic gripped M1905/42 16 inch bayonet. At some point someone painted three Olde English initials on the obverse of the body. They did such a nice job I can't make it out. Scattered nicks along the edges of the scabbard body, but the thing is basically sound. If you can figure out a way to remove the initials without damaging the original OD paint beneath, well here you go..
