 This is a 1/6 tintype in a full Union Case with two pears on each side. The case is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
The image is tinted with gilted buttons. He shows off his sword with pride. Nice clear image, just a little dark.

 Original era manufacture. A very clear BW image of a group of Police and other officials gathered together for Polizeitag, 4&5 October 1907. The image measures 10x11 inches and the matt 14x15 inches. Many of the Police officials appear wearing medals and the hilts of a few swords are visible. Small scuff in the upper right hand corner.

 Original era photography Identified Civil War Infantry 1st Sergeant, 1/6 plate housed in a full case with glass,and original mat. Period tinting to the image, full body portrait. This was purchased from the family and he is identified as William Ramsey, who enlisted in Company G, 110th New York Infantry in August of 1862 and died of disease at New Iberia Louisiana in December of 1863.

 Original era manufacture. Period photographic image which measures roughly 8x12 inches, dark sepia tone patina with spotting from age and exoposure. He is shown wearing a cuirass and holding his Marshalls Baton. Wonderful old wooden frame with a royal crown at top. Old period repair to the base of the crown. During the Franco-Prussian War, then Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm commanded the Third Army. He was an able commander leading his Army to victory in many of the early battles. He was crowned Kaiser in 1888, but died after ruling for only three months.
