German WWII Luftwaffe Flak Soldbuch & ID Disc, Same Man (7 photos)
$185.00
|
Original era manufacture. Nice little grouping consisting of a standard LW issue Soldbuch, aluminum ID disc, photo and his 1956 Fire Department Ausweis from Konigsbach Germany. The Soldbuch was issued to a Kannonier Lotsch and displays the number 455 which also appears on the ID disc. He rose to the rank of Obergefreiter in 1944 and was awarded the LW Flak badge in the same year. Many entries throughout the book as shown. As he likely used this for a time as his postwar identity book, all of the swastikas have been inked out, a common practice of the time. His equipment issue page is quite interesting, nearly every line filled out with the last issue date of April 1st 1945. The small bw photo, may or may not be Kannonier Lotsch. It looks to be of a man of the right age and of a similar rank. It was inside the soldbuch at the time of our purchase. Fun research material.
