Item #39107 : Original era manufacture. Chrome finished blade measuring 32 inches in length, with The M.C. LILLEY & Co. Columbus O trademark on the ricasso. The blade is very clean and presents an etched panel on the obverse side stating the Cadet's name and on the reverse, the letters M.A..Cast brass guard, grip and pommel, with the letters M.A. at the center of the guard, regulation until 1922, when replaced with a Greek helmet emblem. Nickel finished steel scabbard in good order, with gilded brass fittings which display old cleaning.Good research potential.
