US Pre WWI, Massachusetts National Guard Expert Marksmanship Medal, Silver & Gold, Named

Item #39276 : Original era manufacture. A beautifully made, large size Massachusetts National Guard Expert Marksmanship medal of unmarked silver, with gold lettering and emblems. Two bars, one dated 1904, the other1908, named on the reverse to one Arthur P. Fiske, of Troop A.Doing some online research via Ancestry.com, we find several listings for an Arthur P Fiske, born in Lowell Mass. in 1875. Several military listings show him in G Battery as a Marksman in 1899 and 1901, and also serving in 1898 during the Spanish-American War. Medal measures 4.25 inches in length.
