Original era manufacture. Ok, admittedly one of the most bizarre repaints we have ever encountered, the paint scheme nontheless has done a job of protecting the metal surfaces. The blade is quite clean with a few very small nicks in its cutting edge. Serial number 153903 near the ricasso and a matching number stamped into the scabbard throat, of which 153 can be seen clearly, the remaining three digits are covered in paint. Cast aluminum grip with a black-red-yellow paint scheme, copper collar and a plain steel tsuba. The steel scabbard appears to be dent free and is covered in an olive green paint finish, kanji character proofed on the drag.
