Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following;laminate stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and CUPPED butt plate.Allmatching, serial number 108,the band spring is without a serial number, as is the butt plate and bayonet stud. All other components, upper & lower bands, handguard and stock channel display theserial number. Number 1 stamped on both barrel bands, and what appears to be a small case letter f on the recoil bolt. No other waffenamt codes are visible, except for the buttplate, bpr 44 (struck-out) WaA497, with an added Norwegian serial number.The stock displays normal age and wear with a good color and what appears to be original finish to the wood. There are two spots of marring to the wood surface, both on the left side, one just below where the rear sight would be, and the other, just below where the bolt stop would be.
