Original era manufacture. 27 inch polished steel blade with etched panels showing a floral design on each side. The blade is slightly bent near the tip. Gilded brass hilt with a fishskin grip and triple wire binding. Brass mounted leather scabbard with the upper mounting loose, which is a good thing as the leather has shrunk a bit over the years. Nice old sword.
