 Original era manufacture. Early manufacture bright finish blade dated 1908 and made by the Springfield Arsenal. Smooth finish walnut grips, lock button works properly. The blade finish is quite clean with some scattered age spots but no real corrosion. The M1910 canvas scabbard shows normal wear and use but no damage, the leather endpiece is securely stitched and the canvas is not torn or ripped. The name P.L.WANLEY appears on the reverse side of the scabbard indicating possible USMC use. Nice old bayonet.
