 Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; Laminate wood stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. All components display a matching serial number of 7963, except for the band spring which is not numbered. In addition, where marked, the waffenamt code of 26 is visible. Norwegian renumbered buttplate with the original German number struck out. Nice color to the wood, no dowel reinforcment, very faint eagle proofs on the stock face. The metal fittings for the most part have a decent blue finish, however the lower barrel band shows a considerable amount of surface corrosion on the obverse side.

Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; Laminate stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. Mix of serial numbers and waffenamt proofs. The stock is clean, arsenal dowel reinforcement in the bolt handle recess. Decent eagle proofs on the right butt, Navy markings on the left side stock disc O.15200, Ostsee or Baltic Fleet property. Norwegian renumbered butt plate.
