US WWII Pattern Helmet Net
(3 photos)

$14.95

These WWII pattern, closely woven nets come complete with their original OD elastic band. (helmet not included) They are in unissued condition and look great on the GI M1 steel helmet. These are pictured on page 22 Of Doughboy to GI but ours do not have the paper instruction sheet affixed. These are possibly of Dutch or Danish manufacture but are GI configuation in every other respect.
German WWII Army M1935/40 Steel Helmet,
(5 photos)

$750.00

Original era manufacture. A very clean, small size M1935 steel helmet with a rough combat feldgrau finish. A strong Heer pattern decal is on the left side, with a blank right side per the 1940 regulations. Very sound leather liner with no damage beyond normal wear, no adjusting string. The rivets are snug up against the helmet shell and the slot washers are in place. The liner band is very snug inside the helmet making it difficult to read the size and date. I took the helmet out into the bright Arizona sunlight and was able to make out the size stamp 53, but not the year. A small helmet to be sure, but a very clean example.
German WWI M1918 Camouflage Helmet, Bell L 64
(8 photos)

$495.00

Original era manufacture. Standard M1916 model steel helmet with a period applied camouflage paint finish. On the inside of the neckskirt is the rather unusual makers mark of a Bell followed by the letter L and size stamp 64. No liner or rivets.

Thanks to our friend JZ from Chicago, Bell L trademark is identified as R. Lindenberg A.G., Remscheid-Hasten. Thanks JZ

German WWI M1918 Brown Camouflage Steel Helmet, Bell L 64
(4 photos)

$595.00

Original era manufacture. A very interesting example which shows an even, brown paint finish to the exterior of the helmet. Steel liner band with three leather pads intact, four of the six adjusting string holes have been pulled through. The interior of the helmet has the standard feldgrau paint finish and is maker marked and sized on the neck skirt Bell L 64 ( R. Lindenberg A.G., Remscheid-Hasten). The helmet has the look of not being cleaned for a very long time, with splashes of original mud and dirt on the surface. The rear rivet is missing, otherwise complete.

German WWII Luftwaffe M1935 Steel Helmet, Unit Marked, NS64
(7 photos)

$995.00

Original era manufacture. Standard issue steel helmet with its original liner and 1938 dated chinstrap intact. The Tri-Color decal has been painted over and may be seen beneath the paint surface, about 50% of the eagle decal remains. Inkstamped onto the liner surface is 4.Battr. and painted onto the rear neckskirt is the soldiers name Macht. All of the original rivets and slot washers are in place. A very sound, combat used example of an early Luftwaffe steel helmet.
US WWII M1 Swivel Bale Helmet, Liner & Net, Complete
(3 photos)

$350.00

Original era manufacture. Nice original complete example, swivel bale, seamed in front steel helmet with original sewn dark OD canvas chinstraps. The Capac Mfg plastic liner shows a factory OD paint job and stenciled Captains bars on the front. Complete light OD canvas suspension, non-adjustable nape strap, original leather sweatband and leather chinstrap which has snapped in two. The net in our opinion is original to the helmet as it has faded to an even orange/brown color but where it tucks up into the steel pot it is a darked grayish/OD color. This is an untouched, origianl helmet with a wonderful out-of-the-footlocker look to it.
German WWII Fire Police Helmet & Neck Flap, Vet Bringback
(6 photos)

$395.00

Original era manufacture. We recently purchased a small grouping of WWII German souvenirs sent home from Europe by a soldier who served as a US 3rd Army Jeep driver. The lucky recipient was his younger brother who cherished them and stored them away for many years before selling them to us.

Standard model, steel Fire Police helmet with a complete liner and strap. Nice Police & Party decals on the sides of the helmet, and attached to the rear of the liner the seldom seen removable neck protector. There is no damage beyond normal use to report, other than a period wire repair to the chinstrap. Sound, unmolested original helmet.

French WWI M1915 Adrian Helmet, Engineers
(4 photos)

$265.00

Original era manufacture. Four piece construction helmet shell with a steel Engineer emblem on its front. Typical dings and dents but a decent amount of the paint finish remains. A supple brown leather liner with a matching strap. The liner shows normal wear, no real damage but has come loose a bit in the rear of the helmet. Scarce service branch.
German WWII M1940 Combat Police Helmet, Q64
(6 photos)

$1595.00

Original era manufactue. Rough texture feldgrau paint finish with some scattered marks from bumping against some white painted object. Decent original decals as shown. Sound original pigskin liner with adjusting string, all rivets and slot washers in place. An undamaged original chinstrap sets the helmet off nicely. Honest, unmolested example.
German WWII M1935 Luftschutz Combat Police Helmet
(6 photos)

$445.00

Original era manufacture. Satin blue finished helmet which is size marked in the neckskirt EF64. Most of the original paint finish remains, with decent original decals showing on each side. The leather liner shows wear with all of the "fingers" present but several have been pulled through. There is an interesting Luftschutz property stamp visible on the liner exterior. A partial chinstrap remains which is missing its connecting buckle. One of the more scarce patterns of the WWII German helmets.
German WWII Rural Police Officer Shako
(5 photos)

$1295.00

Original era manufacture. Deluxe, private purchase shako made by D.R.BIERTEIS SOHNE FURTH, and showing the silk drape similar to Imperial Pickelhauben inside the lining. The shako displays an embellished eagle featuring more detail than found on the enlisted models. Proper aluminum officers chinscales with a bullion wire fieldbadge instead of the stamped aluminum enlisted model. The body is covered in a Police green wool and is in very good repair, showing only a tiny bit of mothing on the rear upper body. The top, front and rear visors, are brown in color for the rural Police of the era. The rear visor is bound in leather, another feature of an officer quality helmet. It shows some scuffing from age but is not broken or frayed. A difficult piece of headgear to find, especially in the Rural Police pattern.
US WWII Replica GI Helmet Liner Adjustable Nape Strap
(2 photos)

$7.95

First class copy of this hard to find GI liner component. Light OD canvas with blackened metal fittings.
US WWII Paratrooper M2 Helmet & Liner with Net, Recreation
(5 photos)

$175.00

Original era manufacture. This is a high quality recreation using an original WWII front seam steel helmet and original Westinghouse mfg plastic liner. The original chinstrap bales were removed and replaced with the early style D shaped suspension loops. During WWII the D shaped loops were soon replaced due to their tendancy to break in use. In addition to this modification, new canvas webbing was installed in the form of Airborne pattern chinstraps. Overall the helmet is a wonderful display item with the look of an original at a fraction of the cost. Shows light wear and use.
German WWII Luftschutz Gladiator Helmet
(5 photos)

$275.00

Original era manufacture. Very clean, three piece construction steel helmet with an original decal and satin blue finish. Nice leather liner size marked 57. The oilcloth chinstrap is there and complete, but is dry and fragile. Nice helmet otherwise.

$265.00

Original era manufacture. Stamped steel helmet with a satin black paint finish. Original leather liner and inner pad, size marked 58. The Y-type chinstrap is present but the connecting ring and adjusting strap is missing. Nice original decals as shown. At one time this helmet was fitted with a bright aluminum comb, removed and plugged as was the custom then. Sound original helmet.
German WWII Luftschutz Gladiator Helmet

$135.00

Original era manufacture. Three piece construction helmet with a complete liner and chinstrap. The exterior shows a fair amount of surface rust and wear, the decal is a modern replacement but the satin blue paint finish is original. Undamaged leather liner & chinstrap.

French Ca 1848 Garde Nationale Officers Shako & Storage Box
(10 photos)

$875.00

Original era manufacture. Handsome and complete example of a National Guard officers shako prior to the reign of Napoleon III. Cardboard body covered in short black fur with silver brocade trim on the crown. A pressed tin tri-color rosette provides the base for the wool pompom with a silver washed, copper shako plate below. Original, leather backed, metal chinscales with bursting bomb side buttons. A painted pressed leather visor with an intact leather liner. One of the most interesting features of this shako is the top to an original storage box which is included with it. Perhaps a bottom portion was part of the box at some point but the top serves its purpose of protecting the shako body quite well. Great looking piece of vintage, mid-19th century headgear.
US 1930's Childs Toy Doughboy Helmet
(3 photos)

$50.00

Original era manufacture. Red painted stamped lightweight steel helmet with a simple string chinstrap. At one time a circulat felt pad was inside the helmet to act as a liner. Nearly all of the original paint finish remains along with a Art Deco style emblem on the front.
German WWII Army M1935 Double Decal Helmet Shell, Named, NS64
(7 photos)

$575.00

Original era manufacture. A fairly straight example which has never been repainted, still retains its factory apple green finish. Strong tricolor decal and a weak Heer decal, usually the other way round. The original aluminum liner band and rivets with washers remain. Painted onto the neck skirt is the original owners name with some scattered, period acquired dust and mud inside the crown. A great looking old helmet, ready for restoration or leave as is for display.
