German WWII Luftwaffe 2nd Model Dagger & Knot, Eickhorn Mfg (6 photos)
$475.00
|
Original era manufacture. A solid example of a classic Luftwaffe Officers dagger of WWII. Bright blade bearing the Eickhorn trademark, with lots of original polish in evidence on the blade surface. The alloy scabbard is dent free and the aluminum bands make a nice contrast against the scabbard body. Dark yellow plastic grips with a twisted wire binding with polished aluminum pommel and crossguard. Undamaged silver wire dagger knot wrapped correctly around the grip. No damage to report other than a small chip in the grip surface just below the pommel ball.

German WWII M1933 SA Dagger Transition Model, RZM & Maker Marked, C.Wusthof (8 photos)
$550.00
|
Original era manufacture. Standard model dagger but a transition piece showing both the RZM code M7/112 and makers logo for Carl Wusthof on the ricasso. Brown painted scabbard body with plated fittings throughout, typical dented ball tip. The blade is clean, showing typical runner wear and light, scattered age darkening. Sound wood grip with both emblems, and with minor dings from wear and time, no cracks or chips. There is some lifting of the plating on the upper and lower guard but not too dreadful, just typical for its age. The dagger has not been cleaned in a long time and presents itself as one that has just come out of the footlocker.

German WWII Army Officers Dagger, Complete, Gustav Spitzer Mfg (9 photos)
$635.00
|
Original era manufacture. An early quality dagger with silvered fittings and an attractive dark orange grip. The blade is quite clean with lots of original polish visible and with a few spots of age darkening. Sound pair of orignia hangers which show a repair in the form of copper rivets at the base of the connecting tabs, they display a nice patina indicating the repair was done in the distant past. Original silver wire knot which shows its typical fraying but nothing severe. Sound, original example.

German WWII M1933 SS EM Dagger, Gottlieb Hammesfahr (9 photos)
$2595.00
|
Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings and an anodized scabbard body. All screws are present in the scabbard fittings and the ball tip has a typical shallow dent. There are also a few shallow dents to the body surface, but the body color is strong. The blade is very clean showing original polish and a sharp tip. The edges have not been sharpened and the surface shows runner wear only. The wood grip has a nice gloss to its surface and shows normal wear in the form of shallow dents and scratches, there is a short crack on the reverse just above the lower guard. Included with the dagger is an original black leather hanger and belt loop, maker marked OLC and RZM marked. A very clean example showing normal light age and wear.

German WWII SA Enlisted Dagger, RZM M7/36 (7 photos)
$650.00
|
Original era manufacture. A very clean example of this popular WWII dagger. Plated metal fittings with a brown painted steel scabbard with an original brown leather snap hanger attached to the ring. A very clean blade which bears the RZM code M7/36 for Horster. The blade is really clean, with only one or two tiny spots of darkening, original polish everywhere with normal runner marks only. Very clean wood grips with both emblems in place. Only odd thing is the two upper scabbard screws stick out a bit, we haven't tried to tighten them down. Great looking original dagger.

German WWII Hitler Youth Knive, Vet Bringback (6 photos)
$135.00
|
Original era manufacture. We recently purchased a small grouping of WWII German souvenirs sent home from Europe by a soldier who served as a US 3rd Army Jeep driver. The lucky recipient was his younger brother who cherished them and stored them away for many years before selling them to us. A classic example of a child abused HJ knife, however in this case by an American, instead of German kid. Paul told us that he broke the handle while throwing it at a tree, oh well. Honest original example showing its dings and dents. The blade has a light surface rust which can be cleaned away, we just didn't have time to do it.

German WWII Army Officers Dagger, ALCOSO (5 photos)
$495.00
|
Original era manufacture. Early example with silvered metal fittings and an attractive dark yellow grip. No chips or cracks to the grip and the metal fittings have a pleasing silver patina. The blade is very clean showing some runner wear and light scratches but plenty of cross grain polish visible. There is what appears to be a persons name lightly applied to the obverse of the blade. Can't make it out but it is quite visible. Very clean dagger overall.

German WWII NSKK EM Dagger, SMF Mfg (7 photos)
$550.00
|
Original era manufacture. Early pattern dagger with nickel fittings, a black painted steel scabbard, and all scabbard screws in place. The blade is clean with lots of original polish visible and a few scattered spots of age staining. The steel scabbard has some surface bubbling to the obverse, smooth reverse surface. The grip is complete with its proper emblems and is clean looking but a small crack runs up from the guard and a small chip though is visible just below the top grip fitting. Honest example showing normal age.

German WWII EM Red Cross Hewer & Frog (5 photos)
$635.00
|
Original era manufacture. Handsome, large enlisted model Hewer as carried by members of the German Red Cross during WWII. The blade shows only a few tiny spots of tarnish with lots of original polish visible. There are a few minor spots of wear to the scabbard finish but no denting. The frog leather is sound, with some scattered areas of surface dryness. For some reason the stitching below the belt loop has been opened up, perhaps to allow for wear on a wider belt. A nice looking example of this popular edged weapon.

The chromed steel blade is maker marked on both sides of the ricasso, is very clean appearing with a few minor nicks to the cutting edge and some darkening and light pitting near the tip. The scabbard stitching is tight and the stag horn grips are damage free.

German WWII Hitler Youth Knife, RZM M7/13 (5 photos)
$235.00
|
Original era manufacture. Decent looking example which hasn't been ground to a nub by some over eager HJ kidlet. RZM marked on the blade obverse M7/13 which denotes Arthur Schuttelhofer. The blade is clean but has a slight bend to it when looking at it from the top. Nice black plastic grips with an intact enameled diamond. Normal wear to the plated pommel and guard but nothing excessive. The black painted steel scabbard retains 60% of its finish, the black leather belt loop is there but the pommel snap is missing.

German WWII Hitler Youth Knife, Motto Blade (7 photos)
$195.00
|
Original era manufacture. Early production HJ knife with the Blut Und Ehre motto on the blade, maker marked by Reinh.Weyersburg on the opposite side. The blade retains its basic outline but evidence of an amateur sharpening job appear on both sides of the tip edge. The grips are not cracked but the diamond insignia shows cracking on one end. Interestingly two small screws have been placed on either side of the emblem for some reason. Done long ago, but have no idea why. On the opposite side two small mounting holes have been drilled into the grip to mount another piece of insignia, who knows. The plating finish to the pommel and guard show wear and tarnish. The steel scabbard retains traces of its painted finish with the balance being dark steel patina. The belt strap body is dry but unbroken but the pommel strap has snapped. We have not attempted to clean this knife and has a real "been there" look to it.
